Privacy policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains what information WordUnscramblerPro.com collects and how it is used.

The letters you type

Our word tools run entirely in your browser. The letters and words you type into the unscrambler, anagram solver, Wordle helper and word checker are not sent to or stored on our server. When you use the unscrambler, your letters appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share the result.

Information stored on your device

We use your browser’s local storage to remember two settings: light or dark mode, and your preferred points system. This information never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Contact form

If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We do not use it for anything else and do not share it.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses information at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly statistics to count page views. These do not identify you personally.

Children

The site is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or delete any personal information we hold about you, such as a contact form message. Use the contact page and choose “Privacy request”.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
